The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline including celestial beings, fiends, and malevolent powers increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Spoilers for the latest installment of the new season follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the initial group of heroes who will separate from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, separate from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be impossible.

This explains, the initial installments of this story serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Fighters, Planners, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

Per the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might look unsuited, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a intense opening clash with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise initiated the narrative’s action—exploited The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, breaking into the secret base, attacking the character, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

The antagonist then cleared his obligations and fled to a secure base in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and warns that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and The healer, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could enable the team enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, Teor swore a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and The healer defied House Halovar and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is marked for death by the family.

This means them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in search of the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

From the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the players to assemble the Seekers and Strategists groups.

Fans can look forward to discovering which characters will be in which group in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on the upcoming Thursday.
